Annotation:
History of a major company Srb and Štys that was established in 1919 in Prague-Košíře. The company produced and successfully exported a wide range of optical instruments including geodetic ones. In 1945 the company was nationa-lized and together with other companies transformed into the national enterprise Meopta. The production of geodetic instruments was terminated in 1963 from political reasons. Parameters of most significant theodolites and levelling instruments are mentioned together with descriptions of some other devices. Článek zmiňuje historii významné firmy Srb a Štys, založené roku 1919 v Praze-Košířích. Vyráběla a též úspěšně exportovala široký sortiment optických přístrojů, včetně geodetického instrumentária. Firma byla roku 1945 znárodněna a s dalšími firmami převedena do národního podniku Meopta. Výroba geodetických přístrojů byla direktivně ukončena roku 1963. Text přibližuje parametry nejvýznamnějších teodolitů a nivelačních přístrojů a popis některých dalších přístrojů.
