Annotation:
The article commemorates the 1 900 years since the first publication on magnetism and its use for navigation. The development of magnetic measurements is mentioned and individual types of magnetic devices used in surveying are introduced. The article includes tables with technical parameters of instruments manufactured in the last two centuries. Příspěvek připomíná výročí 1 900 let od první publikace o magnetismu a jeho využití pro navigaci. Je zmíněn další vývoj a jsou představeny jednotlivé typy magnetických přístrojů pro zeměměřická využití. V textu jsou zařazeny tabulky s technickými parametry přístrojů, vyráběných v posledních dvou stoletích.
