Anotace:
Die Geschichte der Herstellung geodätischer Instrumente in Sachsen ist seit 1771 urkundlich belegt und gehört damit zu den ältesten Produktionszweigen im europäischen Raum. Die gefertigten Instrumente erreichten ein hohes technisches Niveau. Der Artikel beschäftigt sich vorwiegend mit der Entwicklung rund um Freiberg, der historischen Bergbauregion im Erzgebirge. Weiterhin wird als zweites Zentrum des Instrumentenbaus das Gebiet bei Dresden betrachtet, wobei die Firma G. Heyde und deren Nachkriegsentwicklung vorgestellt werden. The history of the manufacture of geodetic instruments in Saxony has been documented since 1771, making it one of the oldest branches of production in Europe. The instruments produced reached a high technical level. The article focuses primarily on the development around Freiberg, the historic mining region in the Ore Mountains. Furthermore, the area near Dresden is considered as a second centre of instrument making, whereby the company G. Heyde and its post-war development are presented.
